ACCOMMODATION

 

Walton Lodge is situated in large grounds next to a private woodland area on the outskirts of Doncaster, just 4 miles from the town centre, and a couple of minutes to the main motorway network.

 

Accommodation at Walton Lodge is provided at ground floor level, and includes the main kitchen, dining room, sitting room and bedroom areas, which are decorated in a modern, light style.

 

The home is furnished and appointed to a good quality throughout, having been recently refurbished with the inclusion of a sensory room which all individuals can access.

 

Our Rooms.

Clients have their own individual room with an en-suite bath or shower, and toilet. Each bedroom can be decorated to individual tastes and we can either provide furniture or you can bring your own if preferred. There is also an additional shared bathroom. Lockable units are available to individuals in order to keep valuables, and the main safe is also available in the office.

 

Dining.

We have a communal kitchen and a large dining room with adjoining sitting room where clients and staff have meals together. We have our own full-time cook who is able to cater for special diets and preferences to satisfy any cultural or dietary needs that may be required. Our second sitting room has a large, flat screen television and where we also hold a regular range of activities. Both the dining and sitting rooms have patio doors which allow unrestricted views and access to the outside deck and extensive gardens.

 

Outside.

There are many opportunities to sit outside on the deck or enjoy the large garden at Walton Lodge, where participation in projects such as growing vegetables or plants is encouraged.

 

Laundry facilities located in the seperate utilities block.

 

Semi-Independent Living.

Clients using the semi-independent wing of the building have a separate kitchen, and laundry facilities, aswell as their own garden area with raised allotment bed for planting.

 

Access.

There is ample parking space for staffs’, clients’ and relatives’ own vehicles as well as the home’s own minibus which is available for general use, or individuals may choose to have a motability vehicle of their own.

 

Despite our rural, peaceful location, we are situated close to motorway networks, and easy access to local shops and to the town centre with all the facilities that this can offer.
